About us

Krewe of Kindness is a non-profit organization that was formed with the mission of promoting education and awareness in our community for the needs of the mobility impaired with regards to recreational accessibility, among other inclusive projects. We offer support to encourage more kindness and the importance of giving to partner organizations that we feel are vital to the healing, success and happiness of others with disabilities.

. The Krewe was formed in 2018 by the Zimlich family. Their daughter, Delaney, was born with Spina Bifida in 2006. At the time of this sudden surprise diagnosis, thoughts of fear, isolation, and the unknown were ever-present. They began to reach out to others in the community and found ways to adapt to this new life and wanted to find ways to give back and help others who needed a bit of kindness in their own lives.
