Jenni Zimlich is the founder and president of the non profit organization known as Krewe of Kindness. Jenni is a Mobile native, having graduated from Auburn University in 2002 with a degree in Secondary Science education, with an emphasis in Marine Science Education. Jenni worked in several veterinary clinics in our area and assists her husband, Michael Zimlich, in their veterinary relief and consulting business. She has been active in the volunteer community for many years, including working as the zone captain for the Alabama Coastal Cleanup for almost 20 years, Alabama Water Watch community coordinator for Fowl River, Girl Scout troop leader and past 4H leader. She has been involved with various non profits including the Case for Smiles program as a chapter coordinator for Alabama, volunteer at USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital, and half marathon runner for the Children’s Miracle Network fundraiser in Disney World. She also teaches middle and high school science courses for ACCESS, an online public school option, administered by the Alabama State Department of Education. Jenni, Delaney and Michael formed the Krewe of Kindness in an effort to share their resources for navigating a full life in our local outdoors while also having a special health care need.
